Supporting Peer-Led member Organizations

LERN empowers peer-led organizations and programs serving individuals with lived and living experience of mental health, substance use, and addiction across Northeastern Ontario, in the districts of Algoma, Sudbury, Nipissing, Muskoka–Parry Sound, and Cochrane–Temiskaming. 

Our members are central to our work, and their input helps us strengthen our services and better support our peer community.

Become a member

Any peer-led mental health, substance use, and addiction organization and program in Northeastern Ontario interested in joining LERN ARE invited to submit an application.

Memberships are renewed annually at the start of each fiscal year in April.
All new applications are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.
Once approved, a modest membership fee is based on the number of peer support staff employed by the organization or program.

Member benefits

As a LERN member, you have access to a wide range of benefits throughout the year. Most benefits are offered at no cost, though some events or training sessions may require a fee.
